The Commissioner for Victims of Crime aims to improve how victims of crimes are treated and the rights they are entitled to. They meet regularly with key stakeholders and political representatives to highlight the problems faced by victims of crime. They also write letters and issue press releases to draw attention to thematic issues that need addressed to help improve the experience of victims.
